A metalcore album that managed to convince me that there's something worth listening to in the genre. Sheer aggression mixes with moments of odd beauty to create an atmosphere that draws me in again and again. darkkarnitool

This album is easily a TAB (they’re all bangers). every song just goes so hard and some of my favorite lyrics, especially in nocturne: lost faith. The guitar is phenomenal like usual and the drums are amazing. Probably my second favorite album of all time (first is mothership by dgd). swancoreguy
A snarling, ’90s-styled EP from the Texas techno producer, who calls herself the "high priestess of Ableton"—and rightly so. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 6, 2021
A hazy delight from the Los Angeles band; Chillwave synth lines co-mingle with psychedelic guitars, crisp drums, and luxe string samples. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 6, 2021

I select Matches as my favorite song because it literally makes me scream along. I've had this album on repeat for months. The Northern has this loving and vivid image that punches you in the face and pulls you into their emotionally laden story. These all feel like songs I've literally lived in my life and I know them all intimately. Solstice is an amazing piece of my inner reality and I need more of The Northern. Melodic, great synth, well written lyrics, brutal and addictively groovy. zansatsu0
